As we work to build a thriving business ecosystem, we know we have an important role to play in supporting the communities where we work and live, and the larger environment and planet we all share. we have a specific focus on four SDGs where we believe we can have the greatest impact:
- Gender Equality
- Decent Work and Economic Growth
- Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
- Responsible Consumption and Production
Our strategy includes four pillars:
Minimising impact on the planet
We’re transforming into a Net Zero emissions business that embraces more circular systems to manage waste and respurces wisely.
Be Net Zero
We will achieve Net Zero carbon emissions across our value chain by 2030, driven by emission reduction targets, and will be carbon neutral in our direct operations (offices, fulfillment centers, deliveries, and returns) by 2025.
Be More Circular
By 2030, we’ll have shifted towards more circular systems, ensuring 100% of Zoecy’s own-brand products and packaging are produced using more sustainable or recycled materials, prioritizing circular design, expanding our use of circular design strategies across our full own-brand product range, and facilitating product recovery programs.
Through our Be More Circular goal, prioritize extending the life of products and conserving resources by making better material choices and using more sustainable processes.
Positive benefits for people
We’re expanding transparency and human rights progress across our supply chain and setting new diversity, equity and inclusion goals for our business.
Be Transparent
By 2030, through our Be Transparent goal, we’ll accelerate progress on transparency and human rights within our own supply chain, and we’ll provide full public transparency of every own-brand product sold on Zoecy. At the same time, we’ll set out our plans to deliver benefits for people by empowering women in the supply chain, further supporting freedom of association, and working to achieve a living wage.
Be Diverse
Through our Be Diverse goal, we’ll drive diversity, equity, and inclusion across every aspect of our business, with a focus on leadership representation and ensuring every zoecy staff can be their authentic self at work.
Supporting the Community
Spread Some Good with Charity, Giving is at the heart of our business
We understand our responsibility to impact change, we have supported a number of charitable causes in the communities in which we live and work. We know this is just a start, and there is much more to be done.
We advocate for people, animals, and the planet. With every purchase of our products, we donate 10% of our distributed profits, split between a number of charitable causes, Through our grants programs, we give back locally and around the world. Our charitable giving is multifaceted, from our Charity grants program to our product donations and ethical campaigns, we aim to drive positive, long-term, and systemic change.
- When COVID-19 hit, we donated to the local community COVID-19 solidarity response fund, to support the work of the local government in containing the pandemic. The company also donated over 3 thousand masks and some food to local medical and frontline workers.
- In 2021, we donated 5 thousand dollars to help the people impacted by severe flooding in the Henan Province, an area which few of our employees call home.
- In celebration of the Chinese New Year, we distribute gifts to our employees and their families every spring.
- We have an active in-kind donation program where the company donates daily necessities to non-profit organizations that support underserved people and communities.
Protecting the Environment
Environmental sustainability is one of the important sectors for all of our human beings. We believe that reducing supply chain waste and investing in modern production techniques are key starting points to building an environmentally sustainable industry. At Zoecy, we harness our fully integrated digital supply chain to limit excess inventory, reducing the possibility of production waste. In addition, we attempt to sell unsold or returned inventory at wholesale pricing before donating it to populations in need.
